Have been here once and can honestly say it will be the last. The starters of garlic mushrooms on toast and the mozzarella garlic bread were spot on. The staff were friendly and helpful, until the mains came out. My partner had buttermilk chicken sandwich with mango and mint slaw . She asked for the slaw on the side. When the burger came out it was dry, an over toasted brioche bun and 1 piece of limp lettuce and the chicken tasted of dirty fat and was very dry. My double burger was just ok. Although it had salad, tomato and relish. Unlike the chicken burger. The chicken burger was eventually knocked off the bill.
Food is great, if somewhat overpriced. 10/10 recommend the hanging kebabs. It always seems quiet when we visit, but we rarely visit at peak times. Food takes quite a while to come out so be prepare for the wait! Solid 9/10 The staff man openly lied to a little old lady about the location of a nearby business. /(so minus one star for him)
We'd booked to eat here before heading down to the stadium for the Stereophonics gig. It was only when we got into town that we realised how busy everywhere was and Harvey's was packed - good job we had booked. Just want to say thank you to the staff for doing such a good job with taking orders & getting food out in a timely manner. One of the waitresses we spoke to said it had been very busy from lunchtime & thought they deserved some good feedback. Well done guys!
Great friendly staff and very attentive to our wheelchair user. Food was also great. Tasty and plenty of it!
Forget the dogs on the street, this is where the cool cats meet. It's the drink my chic and I did seek. White Zombies did not contain meat. Alcoholic tastes like a treat, when serving with a little sweet. Ask for Joe, you'll feel heat. Top cocktail skills you will not beat.
